Classic Polymers & Resin's Polyurethane is an elastomeric material of exceptional physical properties - toughness, flexible, resistant to abrasions and extreme temperatures, puncture resistant and with a broad hardness range. Polyurethane combines the toughness of metal with the elasticity of rubber. It is in growing number of situations being specified to replace traditional materials such as metals, woo etc. P.U. is recommended where exceptional tear strength and flexibility is required. Polyacetal Polyacetal is a thermoplastic polymer manufactured by the polymerization of formaldehyde. Polyacetal is a highly crystalline thermoplastic. The chemical composition and the regular structure of the material gives parts made of Polyacetal a combination of physical properties not available with metal or other plastics. Applications : - Bearings, Bushings, Gears, Conveyor Chains, Rollers, Washers, Seals etc. 'Classic' offers Polyacetal rounds from ½" to 4" dia. in meter length. P.T.F.E Classic Polymers & Resins supplies P.T.F.E as Sheets, Rods, Tubes, Tapes, bars and Cylinders - Filled and unfilled grades. P.T.F.E has a combination of Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and Thermal properties and continues to serve at extreme temperature unmatched by another material. Because of these properties, P.T.F.E is used as Gasket and Packing materials in chemical processing equipments as electrical insulation for maximum reliability and in bearing pads, seals, piston rings and other mechanical applications especially those requiring antistatic characteristics. P.T.F.E is the most chemically inert of any material known.
